oh I am sorry to hear thet he has been so sick. I hope it's not too serious and he gets better soon. Maybe you will have to learn how to use some power tools, hammers and saw etc till he gets back on his feet. Fortunately my OH is fighting fit, just have to work on keeping him motivated. He ordered the extra steel he needs today and I got rid of the last couple of excess roos. So the old batchelor Pad is being demolished this weekend to make room for the new yet to be named chook run....So pretty excited.

Finally have some pictures to show you the progress First the Old Batchelor Pad has to be demolished so sad as this was my 1st chook run...But out with the old and in with the new.... ....Look mum no more pen The last resident But now after having demolished the old batchelor pad the OH has decided on a new site for the new run..in the middle of the orchard...well makes sense it's closer to the existing pens. And the nosey parkers checkin it out....guess what not for you guys....

I love Penultimate, what a great name. I am incredibly jealous of your new pen it looks like its going to be quite a nice home for your flock.

Progress is on the backburner for a bit as my OH is a little sore and sorry for himself after his spill off the bike and my son has bolted to Albany for the school holidays. I just hope it's finished before we head up north in May
