130 chicks to start March 12. They seem to have hatched early in all the competitions.

Have had a couple of hiccups over the weekend, Saturday I noticed than the trays were in the same place and hadnt moved, for some reason the autoturn had gone on strike and had stopped working, dont know for how long, but have got it going again and then last night just up the road from us a car decided it was going to relocate a lamp post, hence quite a large fire and no power for several hours, have also decided now that we are going to purchase a petrol ran water pump in the very near future, at our place at the moment, no power, no water. On a lighter note, we did have a bit of a chuckle though as our 21 year old decided she wasnt going to wait to be told to evacute at the last minute, she started packing up her precious things into her car straight away, the hair dryer, the hair straightening iron, the numerous makeup bags, her spare hair, etc etc etc, and then her little dog.

Good to see she had her priorities right. I hope you weren't in any danger must have been scary though.. I had the power go off for about 4 hours in the middle of one of my hatches and it just delayed the hatch by a day....Can't remeber if it was early or late in the development though so I hope you still get some hatch

As I read the part about your daughter, I too thought she has definately got her priorities in order, notice she did not include any chooks, shame shame shame.
